12-04-03 The preliminary Heat Sheet for the 15th Lakeside Mile is now posted.  We can still have 10 swimmers late or deck enter.  The heat start times could change.  The final seeding for the mile will be posted at 7:45 am EST.   It is the swimmers responsibility to be at the blocks when their heat is called.   See you Sunday.

12-01-03 -Timers are needed for the Mile!  We must have 16 timers for this event.  If you are not swimming and would like to participate, please contact Mary Graves, 454.4585 ext. 225 or mtgraves@lakesideswim.com to sign up.  Team members, family members, or friends are welcome to work.  Bagels, donuts, fruit, juice and coffee will be served! 

11-27-03 -Toys for Tots -Lakeside Masters will again collect toys for the US Marine Corps annual Toys for Tots drive during our Lakeside Mile meet. Milers, team members, and other interested members are encouraged to bring an "unwrapped" toy to place under our Christmas Tree found in the Bubble. Support this worthy cause!

5-20-03 Cold Water Schedule  We are planning on returning to the Lake, starting this Sunday for practice, however because of the new construction of the piers, the filling of the Lake could not until late last week.  The water is below 70 degrees.  With the Lake that cold we will be practicing in the small pool this Sunday, at 8:00am and 9:30am.Since the membership will be using the small pool on Tuesday and Thursday, practice will be held at St Xavier on Tuesday and Thursday until the water reaches a safe temperature.  Morning practice will be held at the Lake in the small pool, at 5:50am, starting on Wednesday, May 28th.  We will have our holiday practice at 8:00am on Monday, May 26th, Memorial Day.  If the water does not warm by Sunday, June 1st, we will go to MTM that Sunday, because of a conflict in scheduling of the small pool.  All of these schedule changes could change.  Those changes will be announced at practice and posted on our website as so as they are made.
