TOYS FOR TOTS

December 10, 2000

Lakeside Masters Swim Team and the Kentucky-LMSC are proud to sponsor and support the 2000 Toys for Tots. In cooperation with the United States Marine Corps and The Marine Corps League; Lakeside Swim Club will be a distribution point for Toys for Tots on the day of  THE LAKESIDE MILE SWIM MEET, December 10, 2000.

All swimmers and spectators for the Mile are asked to bring an unwrapped new toy to contribute to the Toys for Tots program.  We are also asking any Lakeside Masters team member who would like to contribute a TOY, to do so as well.  All toys will be placed under the Christmas Tree on Sunday, December 10th  until picked up the next day by U.S. Marines Corps.

If you are not entering or working the Mile Meet, you may bring your TOY to Lakeside the week of December 4th.   Give it to the concession attendant to be held,  until our elves place it under the tree on the 10th!  Of course, we hope you will participate in the Mile Meet, either as a swimmer or worker!

The KY-LMSC and Lakeside Swim Club are proud to support such a fine charitable activity for the children and families of our community!
